Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ — common questions in one place

Can I use only the English address?

For international shipping, visas, and documents, the English address alone is often enough. Example: search Sejong-daero 110, copy the English address (110, Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul), and paste it into the shipping address field. Some sites ask for zip code in a separate field—copy it (e.g., 03142) from the search result along with the address.

What is the difference between lot number and road address?

Lot number uses district + lot (land registry number); road address uses road name + building number. Both refer to the same place. Example: 세종대로 110 and 태평로1가 31 refer to the same building. One search on this site shows both. See the Road vs Jibun guide for details.

How should I write the address for international shipping?

Usually: zip code → city, district, road (in English) → detail (building, unit). Example: Zip 03142, Address line 1: 110, Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul, Address line 2: building/unit. Copy the English address from the search result and include zip code and building/unit to avoid delivery errors.

Where does the data come from?

It is based on the Ministry of the Interior and Safety road address API. English conversion follows the official Romanization and road address guidelines.

I get no results.

Try searching again with road+building number (e.g., Sejong-daero 110), building name (e.g., Seoul City Hall), or district+lot (e.g., Yeoksam-dong 737). New buildings or roads may take time to appear in the system.
