How to Convert and Use English Address

Converting a Korean address to English (Roman script) lets you use it for international shipping, visas, documents, and contracts.

How to search

  • Road + building number: e.g., Sejong-daero 110, Teheran-ro 521
  • Building name: e.g., Seoul City Hall, Gangnam Station, Lotte Tower
  • District + lot number: e.g., Yeoksam-dong 737, Samseong-dong 159

Step-by-step example: Sejong-daero 110

  1. Enter 세종대로 110 (or Sejong-daero 110) in the home search box and click Search.
  2. The results page shows the English address: 110, Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul.
  3. Click the Copy button next to the English address to copy it to the clipboard.
  4. Paste it into shipping forms, visa applications, or courier labels as needed.

Road name, lot number, and 5-digit zip code are also shown on the same card.

Romanization

Conversion follows the Romanization of Korean and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety guidelines (e.g., Sejong-daero, Jung-gu).
